Dynamic Neurofeedback
Training the brain gently, without doing a thing
A non-invasive and painless form of support that invites your brain to find its own balance again, for gradual, lasting well-being.
The approach
What is dynamic neurofeedback?
Dynamic neurofeedback is a gentle and entirely non-invasive form of brain training. Sensors placed on the scalp observe your brain's natural electrical activity in real time, without ever sending out the slightest signal. This data feeds a sound or visual feedback, often musical, that plays during the session.
On receiving this information, the brain perceives how it's functioning and, quite naturally, begins to adjust. You have nothing to "do", nothing to picture, nothing to understand. It's a process of self-regulation: the brain finds its way back, at its own pace, to a more balanced state of functioning. Comfortable, quiet and requiring no conscious effort, dynamic neurofeedback is accessible to everyone, adults and children alike.
Who and what for
Areas of support
Dynamic neurofeedback can offer support in many everyday situations. It isn't a medical treatment, but a form of support that encourages self-regulation.
Sleep quality
Guiding a restless brain towards greater calm, for more restful nights.
Focus & attention
Supporting the ability to stay centred, sustain effort and regain mental clarity.
Stress management
Helping the nervous system return to a calmer baseline in the face of everyday demands.
Relaxation & hyperactivity (children)
A gentle, playful form of support for children who find it hard to settle or channel their energy.
Emotional balance
Encouraging more flexible emotional regulation, to ride the ups and downs with greater stability.
This list isn't exhaustive. If you're wondering about your own situation, please don't hesitate to get in touch, we'll talk it through together, with no commitment.
How it unfolds
How does a session work?
A simple, soothing and effortless experience.
Settling in comfortably
You settle comfortably into the chair. Light sensors are placed on the scalp, they don't transmit any signal, they simply listen to your brain's natural electrical activity.
The listening & feedback session
For 30 to 45 minutes, tailored sound or visual feedback is generated in real time from your brain activity. You have nothing to do: the brain receives this information and gradually adjusts its own rhythm, in a completely natural way.
Support over several sessions
The effects build up gradually. Support over several sessions allows the brain to firmly embed the new self-regulation habits. Each course is tailored to your situation.
Frequently asked questions
What I'm often asked
Clear, honest answers to approach this method with complete peace of mind.
No, not at all. Dynamic neurofeedback is entirely painless. You're simply seated comfortably. The sensors placed on your head produce no particular sensation, some people even fall asleep during the session.
No. The sensors simply observe and record your brain's natural electrical activity, rather like a stethoscope listening to the heart without touching it. No signal, no current is sent out. It's an entirely passive and non-invasive approach.
Yes, absolutely. Dynamic neurofeedback is gentle and well tolerated by children. It can be offered as support for attention difficulties, restlessness or sleep disorders. Sessions are adapted to their age and their ability to concentrate.
It's hard to say in advance, as each person is unique. Generally, the effects start to be felt after a few sessions, and a fuller course allows the changes to take hold over time. We discuss it together during the first conversation to tailor the support to your situation.
Yes, and it's often complementary. Hypnotherapy, neurofeedback and luxopuncture can work together harmoniously depending on your needs. Together, we choose the approach (or the combination) best suited to your story.
